Champions Solutions Firearms Services, LLC (CSFS, LLC) is a self defense and firearms training company (No firearms or Ammunition sales).

We believe that self defense involves safe, confident and responsible handling of firearms. The value of having an effective plan to protect and defend everything that is considered valuable - family, life, safety, freedom, mental health, finances and reputation is immeasurable.

Our curriculum includes certificate courses that are prerequisites to apply for state firearms licenses, competitive shooting performance enhancement, emergency preparedness, intimate partner violence prevention and active shooter survival, to name a few.

Our memberships and affiliations include the United States Concealed Carry Association (USCCA), National African American Gun Association (NAAGA) and National Rifle Association (NRA).

Maryland PLUS Wear and Carry & Renewal Certificate

The Maryland state police require 16 hours of training with a 25 round live fire range qualification for initial applicants and 8 hours of training and 25 rounds of live fire for renewal certificates.

The CSFS 16 hour, multi-day certificate course is both in person as well as VIRTUAL-LIVE and INTERACTIVE. The course includes: Application requirements, Safe Gun Handling Rules, Maryland law, Pistol Parts & Operation, mental health and wellness, ammunition knowledge & selection, Cleaning & Maintenance, Holster selection, Firearms Laws, Use of Deadly Force, Mindset, Interactions with Law Enforcement, and a Live Fire session.

Maryland PLUS meets the Maryland state police training prerequisite for resident and non resident applicants seeking to conceal carry. (Maryland HQL, Arizona, Florida and Utah certificates are offered in Maryland PLUS

After The Permit -Concealed Carry and Self Defense Planning

Our AFTER THE PERMIT COURSE is designed to help beginners progress to the intermediate level and those at the intermediate level to an advanced firearms handling and concealed carry level.

The course includes: an overview various state’s concealed carry laws and regulations. Responsibilities and ethical considerations of carrying a concealed firearm. Mental preparedness and situational awareness. Firearm Safety and Handling, Concealed Carry Gear Selection, Concealed carry methods and considerations for different body types and clothing styles, Urban and Suburban Survivalism, Transitional Spaces Awareness, Defensive Tactics and Decision Making and more.

Defensive Shooting Courses 

CSFS offers two kinds of defensive shooting courses (1) The First Quarter Designed for the new shooter or those returning to shooting. Emphasis is placed on the balance between speed and accuracy. Special emphasis is placed on mindset, intuitive skills, weapons retention, point shooting, flash sight pictures, trigger and muzzle control.

(2) The Playoffs - Dynamic Defensive Shooting will expose the student to all the core principles and fundamentals of the dynamic defensive shooting program. This course will cover the basics of dynamic defensive shooting, combat accuracy, the balance of speed & precision, an introduction to understanding the body’s natural reactions during a dynamic critical Incident.

This Course will provide the student with an understanding of counter ambush training with a defensive firearm, base level defensive shooting skills and a training method for continuing to develop those skills.

Utah Concealed Firearms Permit (CFP) Certificate Course

Our Utah CFP course is a FIVE hour in person course that meets Utah’s bureau of criminal investigation’s requirements for the competency portion needed before applying for the permit.  

No live fire range certification is required. 

The Utah CFP has long been the gold standard for those interested in multi state reciprocity for concealed carry.  At the time of this course description the Utah CFP was accepted in 32+ states (always check the state laws that you desire to carry BEFORE arriving).  

In addition to the course requirements, you will be given patient and hands on support in completing the application properly.

Basic Pistol

Our four hour course includes classroom instruction and LIVE FIRE. The course is designed for those that are beginning OR have purchased NEW pistols. The course covers state firearm law, mental health and firearms, home firearm safety, the use of deadly force, interaction with law enforcement, handgun anatomy, mechanisms and operation, ammunition and a component that requires the applicant demonstrate the ability to safely fire a handgun.

Intimate Partner Violence Prevention and Mitigation Course

The course is designed to increase one’s awareness and ability to protect their life and health before intimate violence occurs. The course also helps survivors further process their experiences and prepare for safer future outcomes.

Cognitive objectives: the student will learn skills like vetting, interpreting relationship red flags, the role of protective orders, non-lethal force, lethal force, communicating healthier boundaries, enthusiastic and ongoing consent, de-escalation, avoidance or escape from violent encounters. Finally, the student will learn the full scope of self-defense including the aftermath of violence in protecting their assets, mental health, and freedom.

Affectionate objectives: students will feel the sense of confidence that can accompany being trained and prepared to advocate for one’s self. The student will also have a better sense of personal and home security planning that results from greater awareness and planning.

Active Shooter Preparedness

ASP/AFD 200

Our active shooter preparedness training class is taught in the context of the student as an individual (ASP 200) or in group dynamics - Active Flock Defense™️ (AFD 200).

Active Flock Defense™️ is a preparedness course designed for houses of worship, families, and organizations. Topics include situational/environmental awareness and how to use the run, hide, and fight actions to keep you and your loved ones safe while either armed or unarmed. The importance of basic life support, stop the bleed techniques and safer encounters with first responders are given special attention.

Prepping for Home Defense

This two-hour course covers the essentials for prepping in the context of sheltering in place also known as bunkering.  Some of the areas covered in the course include:

  • Building a food supply

  • Safe water storage

  • Protocols for cooking the food you've stored

  • Implementing an off-grid waste system (rubbish and toilet waste) 

  • Bug out plans and a bug out bag

  • Threat mitigation and use of force

  • Fortifying your land and premises

  • First aid essential

  • Physical and mental health management

Sports Performance for Competition Shooters

This course is for Intermediate and advanced competition shooters.  Sports Performance Shooting Enhancement combines the expertise of a USCCA CCHD certified instructor and a practicing certified clinical Hypnotherapist (CH.t).  The course will cover a range of focus, breathing and concentration tools to pair with shooting technique to maximize speed, accuracy as well as overall performance.
